The German Conference of Women in Physics (Deutsche Physikerinnentagung) will be hosted in 2026 by the Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität (RPTU) Kaiserslautern-Landau at the campus in Kaiserslautern.

The scientific focus of the conference is on solid state, bio, and spin physics, as well as photonics and quantum technologies. We also welcome contributions on physics ranging from very small to very large scales in energy, time, and space, from elementary particle physics to cosmology.

The scientific program will be complemented by events on careers in industry, soft skills workshops, and opportunities to meet representatives from industry and research and to network.

The conference is conducted in English and supported by the Working Group on Equal Opportunities (AKC) of the deutsche physikalische Gesellschaft (DPG).
